Performance measured not only by medals or records — but by the ability to live with energy, resilience, and joy.
We integrate the precision of modern sports science with the wisdom of India's ancient knowledge systems. Technology, research, education, and coaching — inside and outside, together.
Anandamide Sports Solutions LLP is a DPIIT-registered startup at the intersection of modern sports science and India's ancient knowledge systems. We believe human performance cannot be optimised from the outside alone — the regulatory condition of the conscious practitioner is as fundamental as their biomechanics.
The name Anandamide is drawn from the body's own endocannabinoid molecule — associated with happiness, balance, and wellbeing. Just as this molecule regulates mood and motivation from within, our programmes align physical training with emotional stability, intellectual clarity, and inner development.
Our four integrated offerings — Sports Specific Training, FitTek technology, the CBHPP research framework, and the Performance Through Wellbeing university course — form a complete ecosystem for human development at every level.
"There is nothing physical about physical education. It is a science, a philosophy, and a pathway to self-discovery."— Pradeep Pillay, Anandamide Course Manual
Each offering addresses a different dimension of human performance — applied coaching, technology, consciousness research, and education. Designed to work together, not in isolation.
A comprehensive training funnel for athletes of any sport and all age groups — integrating strength and conditioning, sports nutrition, mind-brain training, rehabilitation, and sports massage into one holistic programme.
The Consciousness-Based Human Performance Paradigm — a theoretical framework proposing that consciousness is the most underinvestigated determinant of human performance and wellbeing, grounded in Vedic tradition and modern science.
A sports performance intelligence platform combining smart insoles, biomechanics sensors, and a SaaS analytics dashboard — delivering real-time performance data and injury risk insights to athletes, coaches, and institutions.
A 20-hour university course delivered at HL College Ahmedabad, integrating sports science with the Panchakosha model, the Indian trilogy of brain-mind-soul, energy systems, nutrition, and consciousness development.
The dominant neuroscientific framework, while extraordinary in its proper domain, has systematically excluded the most important variable in human performance: the conscious observer. CBHPP proposes the investigation of the domain neuroscience has not yet incorporated.
CBHPP draws on the unbroken lineage of first-person investigators — the Vedic Rishis, Gautama Buddha, Swami Vivekananda, Jesus Christ, Kabir, St. Francis of Assisi — whose findings represent the most sustained empirical investigation into consciousness available.
The framework introduces the critical distinction between surviving — operating from the brain's evolutionary survival apparatus — and living — what becomes possible when the mind is brought under conscious direction through yoga, meditation, and self-enquiry.

View on PhilPapers →The Sports Specific Training programme offers athletes of any sport and all age groups a complete, integrated training funnel — combining the physical, nutritional, psychological, and rehabilitative dimensions of performance into one coherent system.
Delivered online and offline, individually or in groups, the programme draws on 25+ years of coaching and sports science practice across multiple disciplines. Every element is designed to work together — because performance is never the product of one variable alone.
FitTek is building the performance intelligence layer that Indian sport has been missing. Where existing wearables track fitness and GPS, FitTek delivers insole-based biomechanics intelligence — giving coaches and athletes precise, actionable insight into movement quality, efficiency, and injury risk in real time.
The platform combines proprietary sensor integration with a SaaS analytics dashboard, making sophisticated performance data accessible to sports academies, universities, and physiotherapy centres across India.
This course redefines physical education as a science, a philosophy, and a pathway to self-discovery. It integrates modern sports science with India's ancient knowledge systems — creating a framework for performance that is sustainable, meaningful, and deeply human.
Students engage with exercise physiology, biomechanics, nutrition, and sports psychology alongside the Panchakosha model, the Indian trilogy of brain-mind-soul, and the CBHPP framework — understanding not just how to train, but why, and in service of what.
"The playing field is a laboratory for personal growth. Sport teaches not only how to move but how to live with intention."
"From survival level to living level — this is real education. To train our minds."
"When well-being becomes the foundation, performance follows naturally."
"Self-control is the foundation of conscious living. It transforms performance from reactive effort into intentional expression."
We are recruiting for the first empirical investigation of the CBHPP five-level developmental methodology — a 12-week international two-cohort feasibility study examining self-regulation, attentional training, and consciousness development in a general adult population.
Ahmedabad participants join in-person group sessions plus online sessions. International participants join online sessions from any English-speaking country. Both cohorts receive daily home practice audio and full programme support — completely free.
Pradeep Pillay is a sports scientist and high performance coach whose work sits at a genuinely rare intersection: the rigour of Western sports science and the depth of India's ancient philosophical traditions. Educated in the United Kingdom and Ireland, he has spent 25 years asking the question that mainstream sports science rarely asks — what is the condition of the human being inside the performance?
His work with Anandamide Sports Solutions LLP operates on four simultaneous fronts: Sports Specific Training for athletes of all sports and ages; FitTek, a biomechanics technology platform; the CBHPP, a theoretical framework for consciousness-based performance research; and a university course delivered at HL College Ahmedabad that has introduced hundreds of students to the science of whole-person development.
His CBHPP framework paper has been submitted to Prof. David Chalmers at NYU — the philosopher whose 'hard problem of consciousness' forms the central intellectual dialogue of the work — and has been published on PhilPapers for open academic engagement.
"Performance is not measured only by medals or records — but by the ability to live with energy, resilience, and joy. Real education begins when we move from survival level to living level."
